Having meals three times a day with my family. Hardly go out for diners nor buy frozen and processed food. Baking anything and everything, making pastas/Chinese steam buns etc. from scratch as much as I can. So as to quest for genuine, yummy and healthy food, I am cooking and cooking and cooking. ......
mmh, that rahmen soup looks so fresh and delicious! a perfect summer menue.
ReplyDeleteand good girl indeed for cooking every day!
Hi blubel!! Thanks for leaving your comment. Where are you come from? US?Asian?or EU? What kind of noodles do you usually have?
ReplyDeletei´m from germany and i would say that durum wheat noodles are most popular over here, mainly italian style. but luckily we have many asian supermarkets over here that sell all kinds of original japanese or chinese products, so i can have real udon-noodles if i want.
ReplyDeletei actually have a question! this weekend i tried 'mapo tofu' fpr the first time and it was good but i felt like something is missing. do you ever cook it? and if yes, what is your recipe? i´d love to know! :)
Hi Blubel,
ReplyDeleteYes, I sometimes cook Mapo Tofu. Besides minced pork, did you put chopped garlic, ginger and green onion into it?
I usually season "Tien Mien Djan"(http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%94%9C%E9%BA%BA%E9%86%A4), DouBangDian(http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%B1%86%E6%9D%BF%E9%86%A4), a litte bit oyster sauce and soy sauce. If you like spicy taste, add freshly grinded Sichuan Peppercorns when you eat. Maybe next time I will upload Mapo Dofu recipe;-)
hi kaori! how are you?
ReplyDeletesorry for the late reply.
i´d absolutely love to see your mapo dofu recipe on your blog, yay! :) i probably used another seasoning, plus i just realized i forgot the ginger.. -_- next time i´ll go to the asian super market, i´ll look for "tien mien djan".
