Amanatsu Marmalade Jam





serve it with cottage cheese on slice of bread.

Got organic Amanatsu citrus and made marmalade jam. I like bitter taste of the peels, so I didn't drain out of the boiling water many times.
I totally forgot measuring each ingredients precisely, so next time I will show you the recipe.
(maybe next Amanatsu season:P)

Pumpkin Doughnuts




This is the second challenge to make doughnuts. This time I used pumpkin instead of potatoes.

Perfect taste.

Do not think about the calories while eating...... :P

Lunch Box for Picnic at Meiji Shrine, Harajuku

Pumpkin Salad, 4 kinds of sandwiches, tomatoes and cheese
Rosmary and tyme deep fried Chicken


Pumpkin Doughnuts, some fruits and fromage


I like picnic!


Need a bottle of wine as well.


Only 15 minutes walk brought us to Meiji Shrine Park. Omotesando is really urabn and fashinable town but also they have lots of nature. I woke up early and made lunch box. the flavour of rosemary deep fried chicken woke Taro up. This is quite fun for him, take me hand to go to the entrance and says "Let's go picnic ASAP!!"

Avocado Cheese Humburger!

When you get cold,

This noodle is very helpful when you get ill. Even though you don't feel eat anything, you would be able to this noodle. Very healthy and low calories. Taro always have it when he gets cold.



Mushroom, Seaweed and Katsuo bonito broth. Very gently soup.


He is trying to build "Quadrilla".

Baked Apple

Cinammon, raison, butter, maple syrup and a plenty of red wine.
bake 200℃ around 30-40 minutes.



Serve with vanila ice cream.


If the baked apple left, you can make bread pudding.


Soak bread into egg and milk. Add leftover apples and re-bake again.


On weekday night

My father's friend sent us Fresh bamboo from Kagoshima. Made Takenoko-rice, and Wakatake-ni which are typical Japanese Bamboo dish.



Jun made Tarako Spaghetti for us!

I made tomato salad.



Typical traditional Japanese food

During weekdays, I do not have much time to make dinner. Taro went home at around 6 o'clock,and I came home around 6:30. They get hungry so I always rush into home and make something quickly. While I got train, I compose everyday meals and image the procedure. Quite tough to manage it everyday.

Challenging Night

Mango and Banana Salad with Shiso herb, Sliced onion and Chilli pepper.
Sweets, sour and a little bit hot. Very challenging salad. -result- Yumm!! especially eating with Chicken Tajin!

This is also challenging Tajin. Added Fresh Bamboo from Kagoshima. Must add "Alissa Sauce".





German Night

Made "sauerkraut" and simmered with sausage.

Taro was excited at the sausage with bone!



Salty mushroom cream soup.

Got the bread at "PAUL" in Kitasenju.Love sausage❤

Breakfast at the third week of April

The day before leftovers turned to tomato soup. Added Gnocci.
Graham Bread Sandwich
(blueberry jam+cream cheese, Salami + Malibo cheese and Egg+ Corned beef+Mayonayse.)



This childrenbook is discribing about catching cold during sleep.


He is the one who catch cold in his sleep :P


Baking quick bread.( Raison, Banana, Apricot in there.)

Made Chai Tea Latte for Saturday Breakfast.

Preserved Salted Mushrooms




Diced Enoki, Shitake, Elingi, Shimeji and Maitake Mushrooms. Meausure the gross weight.


Boil 20 secs for each mushroom.


Put boiled mushrooms in the preserved bottle. Add 10%salt of the gross weight. Mix together.
It can be stored in a fridge for 1 month.


Tonight, made salad using this salty mushroom. Mushrooms has enough salty so you do not need to season. Oil and Lemon juice would be fine. The white pieces are cottage cheese.



The main dish was Bongore Rosso.

麻婆豆腐

Taro cannot eat spicy chilli food, so this cannot call "麻婆豆腐”though. Added Jew's‐ear mushroom ..( this is the leftover of noodle salad. :P)

LOVE DOUGHNUTS!




Probably this is the first time to make Doughnuts using yeast. To more surprise, besides flour, mush potatoes into it. Amazing. (potato:flour=1:2)Very light and fluffy texture.

Noodle Salad, Deep Fried Spring Roll and Curry coconuts soup


Jew's‐ear mushroom, cucumber and some herbs in there.



Grated Yamato-imo, Shiso herb, and shrimp in it.

Sprinkle S&P. Easy, yummy and healthy!

Karaage (deep freid chicken) Dinner

Deep fried chicken and Lotus roots.
Add Five spice powder(五香粉)-star anise, cloves, cinnamon, huajiao(Sichuan pepper) and ground fennel seeds- is the key of tasty.

He loves cucmber these days.
