Got ultra yummy "Furikake" at Tokyu Food Show in Shibuya.

Couldn't find their shop web sight, but found this photo on the internet.
Check it out!! you may find the demonstration in your neighbour department store. ;-)

Taro's rate:★★★★★

Note: Unfortunately, this Furikake includes some artificial stuff, kind of amino acids.... ;(

  1. Furikake is a dry salty powder to be sprinkled on top of rice. It typically consists of a mixture of dried and ground fish, sesame seeds, chopped seaweed, salt and so on. Other flavorful ingredients such as katsuobushi (sometimes indicated on the package as bonito), or okaka (bonito flakes moistened with soy sauce and dried again), salmon, shiso, egg, powdered miso, vegetables, etc. are often added to the mix.
It can have a slight fish or seafood flavoring, and is sometimes spicy. It can be used in Japanese cooking for pickling foods for onigiri, or rice balls.
We love Umeboshi(pickled plum) flavour. :)
