Some people may add white sauce in chicken soup, but I added milk and Parmigiano Reggiano in the stew. When you make it, you should use chicken drum or wings instead of chicken thigh/breast. Their bones make the soup more rich and tasty.
Sometimes I use Taro instead of potatoes. That would be more Japanese taste and go with rice.
